Remember CARE in your Will: care for life, care forever
Remember CARE in your Will: care for life, care forever
Create a lasting legacy
Leaving a bequest or gift in your Will to CARE is one of the most valuable gifts you can give.
Your gift will help send girls to school, help families receive life-saving health care, and help whole communities to overcome poverty. A gift that lasts beyond any lifetime, you will help women and girls in poor communities to break the cycle of poverty, forever.
What your gift can do
Fatchima is a grandmother from Niger. As a young girl, the poverty of her family, and her entire village, meant that school was simply not an option. “The children were always sick, always malnourished,” she says. Parents worried constantly. There was never enough food. Disease spread rapidly and there was no getting away from it.
But when Fatchima grew up, she joined a CARE savings group called Women on the Move, and her life began to change. Fatchima’s group was able to save enough money for everyone in the group to invest in a better life – Fatchima started a small business, bought livestock, and eventually was able to send her granddaughter Nana to school. Because of her education, Nana has a real chance to avoid a life of poverty, and does not face the impossible barriers her grandmother had to confront.
Gifts in Wills helped Aboubaca change the story of her family. Let a gift in your Will do the same.
Each and every gift – large or small – makes a big difference
“We were very impressed [by CARE’s work]. CARE has placed more emphasis on the education of women which we applaud. [Addressing poverty and inequality around the world] will be an ongoing challenge for many years to come, so making provisions in both our Wills for bequests to CARE continues to foster the desires we currently have in improving children’s opportunities for a more fulfilling life.”
– Dr Graeme and Mrs Dawn Robson, who have left a gift to CARE in their Will.
